Terms of Service

1. Agreement and Acceptance

Welcome to MSG.AI and the MSG.AI Chrome extension (“the Extension”). By installing or using the Extension or related services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Extension.

2. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for your own use.

You may not, unless permitted by law or our written consent:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code;
  • Copy, resell, rent, or redistribute the Extension;
  • Create derivative works or commercial services based on the Extension without authorization.

3. Lawful Use

You agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction;
  • Comply with WhatsApp’s terms of service and policies;
  • Not use the Extension for spam, harassment, fraud, or illegal content, or to infringe others’ rights.

You are solely responsible for your use of the Extension. We are not liable for account restrictions, bans, or other consequences resulting from how you use WhatsApp or the Extension.

4. Trial, Payment, and Refunds

4.1 Trial

We may offer a limited free trial (e.g. 7 days). When the trial ends, some features may be restricted until you purchase a Pro license.

4.2 Payment and Subscription

Pro plans are offered on a subscription basis (e.g. monthly or yearly). Prices and terms are shown on the website or payment page. After purchase, you receive a license key or account linkage to unlock Pro features.

4.3 Refunds

As a digital product, we generally do not offer refunds once a license is activated, except where required by law or as agreed with the payment provider. If you cannot use the Extension due to a technical fault on our side, contact us and we will consider the situation in good faith.

5. Term and Termination

5.1 Term

These Terms remain in effect from the moment you install or use the Extension until terminated by you or by us as described below.

5.2 Termination by You

You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it and discontinuing use of related services. Uninstalling does not automatically entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid.

5.3 Suspension or Termination for Breach

If you violate these Terms, applicable law, WhatsApp’s policies, or our usage rules (including but not limited to spam, harassment, fraud, reverse engineering, unauthorized redistribution, or infringement of others’ rights), we may, at our discretion and without prior notice where permitted by law, take one or more of the following actions:

  • Suspend or restrict your access to the Extension or related services (in whole or in part);
  • Terminate your license and cancel your account or Pro subscription entitlements;
  • Revoke license keys or disable features linked to your use;
  • Refuse future access or reactivation;
  • Pursue other remedies available under law (including claims for damages where appropriate).

Where your access is suspended or terminated due to your breach, you are not entitled to a refund of fees already paid, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

5.4 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, the license granted under these Terms ends immediately, and you must stop using the Extension. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law, and your responsibility for prior use) will continue to apply.

6. Service Changes and Interruption

WhatsApp may change its interface or policies at any time. We may need to update or discontinue parts of the Extension. We may also change or suspend the service for security, legal, or operational reasons, or due to force majeure.

We are not liable for changes to free features. For paid subscriptions, we will try to offer reasonable compensation (e.g. extended access or alternative features) where appropriate.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Extension is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will not lead to any account restriction or ban.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data, or business) arising from your use or inability to use the Extension, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated terms take effect when published on the site.

Continued use of the Extension after changes means you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Extension.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer’s jurisdiction. Any dispute shall first be resolved by good-faith negotiation; if that fails, it may be submitted to the competent courts.
